Fitness Equipment Sales
Apollo Fitness Equipment is seeking fitness-minded, customer-focused, solution-oriented, goal-driven, money-motivated, passionate, and energetic self-starters for a career in Retail Sales as an Assistant Manager for the ABILENE, TEXAS location.
Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to work retail hours, including weekends. Flexible schedules available. Primary Responsibilities include: - Learning fitness equipment features, benefits, and technical specifications. - Identifying customer’s fitness goals and special equipment needs. - Presenting customers with equipment recommendations based on those needs. - Closing sales and professionally handling operational logistics at the point of sale. - Following up with customers after the sale to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and loyalty. - Maintaining a “Perfect Floor” and “Perfect Store” status in the store. - Assisting with daily store operations in alignment with company goals. - Supporting the needs of the Corporate Office and the efforts of the Marketing Dept.
Qualifications: - Must have Retail Sales experience and/or Retail Store Management experience. - Must have an outstanding attitude and commitment to Customer Service. - Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Must feel confident making presentations in one-on-one and/or group settings. - Must be very well organized and extremely detail-oriented. - Must be extremely personable and able to build rapport with customers. - Must exhibit professionalism and confidence in dealing with others. - Must thrive working independently as well as in a team environment. - Must be a team player and willing to go the extra mile for a team member. - Must be literate in core PC software programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Interest or experience in the fitness industry a plus!
